Elsewhere, for a While brings together a collection of photographs from my time exploring Istanbul, a city that felt a world away from home, not simply in distance, but in its people, its streets and the rhythm of everyday life.

Far removed from the familiar surroundings of Brighton and London, I found myself immersed in a place that felt entirely different to anything I was used to photographing.

For a little while, I was somewhere else. And these photographs are my way of holding on to that experience.
